MELD PrintWorks Corporation is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our advanced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the physical build, wiring, and fluid systems integration of our disruptive, large-scale metal 3D printing equipment. The ideal candidate possesses a mix of electrical precision, structural mechanical building skills, and a commitment to high-quality standards in an ISO 9001:2015 Environment.

Key Responsibilities

• System Integration: Perform complex mechanical assembly, structural rigging, and precision alignment of subsystems for large additive manufacturing machines. 
• Electrical Build & Wiring: Route, terminate, and secure high-voltage and low-voltage wiring harnesses, control panels, circuit switches, and sensory components from schematics. 
• Fluid Power Assembly: Install, route, and torque hydraulic and pneumatic lines, manifolds, valves, and regulatory control elements. 
• Schematic Interpretation: Read, interpret, and precisely execute tasks using digital work instructions, engineering blueprints, and complex multi-layer electrical schematics. 
• Engineering Collaboration: Partner dynamically with cross-functional design engineers and Controls Engineers to diagnose, test, and troubleshoot assembly anomalies. 
• Quality Inspection: Conduct rigorous multi-point validation checks throughout the production process to guarantee conformity to aerospace, defense, and ISO 9001 guidelines. 
• 5S & Workplace Safety: Maintain a tour-ready workspace by applying 5S methodologies (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).  Technicians must track and maintain high-value precision hand and power tools to minimize foreign object debris (FOD) risks and ensure operational safety. 

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in a technical/manufacturing field, or equivalent trade school certification with relevant work history.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in complex machinery assembly, automation systems, or heavy industrial electro-mechanical build environments.
• Technical Literacy: Proven ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, fluid power symbols, and point-to-point electrical wiring diagrams.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended shifts, and maintain fine motor dexterity for intricate wiring work.
• Equipment Mastery: Experience utilizing calibrated hand tools, torque wrenches, multi-meters, wire strippers, and crimping equipment.

As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for the set up and operate 3D printers, prep materials and commitment to quality. It will be instrumental in ensuring the successful operation of our product. As we are a rapidly growing start-up, we value self-starters who thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment.

• Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC controlled 3D printers.
• Perform basic maintenance on 3D printers.
• Prep materials and workspace.
• Maintain cleanliness of work and shop areas.
• Provide feedback to management, engineering, and co-workers regarding
• machines, projects, or processes that you are working on.
• Other tasks may include supporting other areas when needed, like shipping, packing, and quality.

Requirements

• Adherence to safety and health procedures (e.g. always wear appropriate
  PPE).
• 2+ years experience with machine operation preferred.
• Analytical problem solver.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written processes and procedures.
• Flexibility in daily assignments.
• prior manufacturing experience helpful.
• must be willing to train during first shift hours.
